Peter
During my recent business trip to Imatra, I had the pleasure of staying at Scandic Imatran Valtionhotelli, a hotel that was chosen by our director. One of the highlights of my stay was the comfortable saunas and jacuzzis available at the hotel. After a long day of meetings, relaxing in the warm sauna and rejuvenating myself in the jacuzzi was an absolute treat. It truly provided a much-needed respite for both my body and soul, helping me unwind and recharge for the next day's activities.
I wasn't provided with any cutlery, napkins, or sauces for my burger.

We loved our stay here! The hotel facilities were fantastic, including the free and all-time access to the SPA-complex, with pools, saunas, and relaxing areas. The cleanliness of the room and the bathroom was impeccable, and we appreciated the additional items provided, such as slippers and bathrobes. The hotel's location was also a highlight, situated in a lovely park on the bank of a river's canyon and in close proximity to supermarkets, shops, and nice restaurants.
Nothing to fault.

Everything was good during our journey. Thank you for a good service! Hope to come to you soon again.
Unfortunately, breakfast wasn’t included at weekend. As usually, we was sad that there`s no shopping in Imatra on Sunday & there`re no places enough to have early breakfast & late dinner around the city center. Also we were disappointed to find out that famous water flow actives for a short time & we missed it again. But all the indicated dissatisfactions don’t apply to the hote, just to finish interior policy we`re forced to “eat dirt” .

This hotel is perfectly situated for a nature walk and close to the city centre, with a supermarket nearby. The rooms are cozy and the bathroom is spacious. The breakfast is tasty and plentiful, complete with a variety of options. The free sauna and bike rentals are great facilities to use during your stay.

The castle-like hotel with versatile services in Imatra's national landscape was a fantastic choice. The highlight of our stay was definitely the indoor swimming pool area with hot tubs and saunas. It felt like we were relaxing in a luxurious spa retreat, surrounded by warm rock beds and soothing bubbles. The facilities were top-notch, and we truly indulged in some well-deserved pampering.
Old-fashioned toilet decor.

Nice location!
Hotel is OK, but the price is a bit steep compared to what you actually get. I would certainly not classify this hotel as a spa hotel, but with a 3 star hotel with some basic spa facilities. For men there is only one sauna and two or three jacuzzis, that's it. The rooms are OK, but need to be renovated in the near future. The hotel looks luxurious, but it is not. Not recommended for a romantic holiday.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The location is perfect, right in the heart of the city with easy access to everything. The room was comfortable, spacious, and beautifully decorated. We loved the view from our room, overlooking the park and river's canyon. The hotel offers a free spa complex that is open all day, unlike other hotels we've stayed at. It was great to have access to the jacuzzis, pool, saunas, and relaxation areas. The staff at the reception went above and beyond to make our stay special, even surprising us with a birthday gift in our room. The free parking and free wifi were also huge bonuses. this hotel provided enhanced comfort and quality services that exceeded our expectations.
We highly recommend this hotel to everyone.
